Inside Sales Representative

Job Description


The Inside Sales Rep will be responsible for outbound sales calls into prospects.

The primary objective will be to establish a relationship, qualify the opportunity, close the opportunity, roll out the opportunity and increase revenue.

Position Responsibilities

  1. Selling to the SME market
  2. Prospecting and cold calling to create new business relationships
  3. Sell profitable NEW acquisition revenues of our Audio and Web services
  4. Prospect, Qualify, Data gather, Present, Demo and close for business on the telephone
  5. Training new clients to our services that the Inside Sales representative brings on
  6. Proactively finding customers and setting appointments/telephone appointments
  7. Qualify prospects needs and our service requirements, benefits and product
  8. Qualify prospects budget for conferencing services
  9. Determine prospects current volume of conferencing minutes, and current provider for audio
  10. Adhere to strict activity metrics to find sufficient number of sales opportunities are found
  11. Maintain database of records
  12. Other work related duties as assigned
  13. Generate leads by cold-calling target companies, emailing, identifying key decision makers, business pain, and existing complementary or competitive conferencing applications
  14. Identify new target companies and prospects through primary and secondary research.
  15. Develop business and account plans as well as sales strategies.
  16. Meet or exceed revenue and/or activity quota through phone-based, full-cycle, solution selling.
  17. Track all relevant sales activity using SalesForce.com or other sales force automation systems (including calls, prospect pipeline, account notes, etc.)
  18. Time management prioritized against call campaign and revenue goals.
  19. Achieve and maintain a working knowledge of all PC-Conferencing services
  20. Project independent, highly motivated, and success driven approach to responsibilities.
  21. Interact comfortably with senior management, both internal and external.
  22. Adhere to the appropriate sales process and policies available to save the customer's business.
  23. Is a compelling and articulate speaker in a variety of settings. Easily adjusts the message to match the audience.
  24. Skilled at using the phone to get sales. Prepares list of leads, delivers benefit statements, handles objections, and records statistics on each call.
  25. Uses superior customer-oriented telephone etiquette to get information. Greets callers, establishes rapport, projects professional tone, handles complaints, and records statistics on each call.
  26. Is team-oriented and works collaboratively to achieve team goals.
  27. Committed to exceeding quality standards and providing exceptional products and services.
  28. Has a solid understanding of the job and its duties and responsibilities.
  29. Has a track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.

Job Qualifications

  1. High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
  2. Strong knowledge of companies hierarchies
  3. Positive, enthusiastic personality with a desire to learn
  4. Aggressive cold calling skills
  5. Ability to work strategically and tactically within a prospective customer
  6. Excellent verbal and written skills
  7. Must be team oriented, open to taking direction, and possess a strong desire to conquer territory
  8. Ability to coordinate and work effectively with many different departments, companies and personalities
  9. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer
